Hyderabad: Former President of JNU Students’ Union, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar told that the proposed Assembly elections of the four states will determine whether people want to see Mr. Modi as PM after 2019 General Elections. This will also be a message for the parties who are directly or indirectly supporting Mr. Modi. It is the best opportunity for us to teach a lesson to any political party, be it TRS or BJP.
Continuing his address, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar told that any country is not identified by the name of its city or railway station but India is known for its Ganga-Yemuna culture. Conspiracies are being hatched to wipe out this culture. In order to cover up the draw back in fulfilling election promises, some parties are spreading the venom of communalism. The followers of Nathu Ram Godse are making an attempt to come back to power again by exploiting the name of Rama. They are fully aware that they will not be able to poll votes if they repeat the name of Nathu Ram Godse.
The leaders are making attempts to mislead Hindu community by raising the issues of Masjid and Mandir once again.
Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar was addressing 130th birthday celebration of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad organized by Minorities Cell of Telangana State Congress on the occasion of “National Day of Education”.
Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr. Abdullah Sohail, President of Minorities cell, Mr. Saleem Ahmed, in charge Secretary of AICC also attended the meeting.
Continuing his speech, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar told that in an attempt to change the system, they are playing with the history of India. He also said that India is a bouquet of flowers of different religions. It is the country of Gandhi, Nehru, Patel and Azad.
Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy told that TRS leaders did not utter a single word in the Parliament when Akhlaq case was being discussed. They also overlooked the demand to probe into Alair encounter. They avoided challenging the court judgment of Makkah Masjid Bomb Blast Case. Mr. KCR supported BJP for demonetization and GST. He did not fulfill the promise of providing 12% reservation to Muslims. Mr. KCR had declared in the Assembly that he would lodge a protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi and approach the Supreme Court if the Central Govt. did not approve 12% reservation.
Capt. Reddy promised that in case Congress comes to power in Telangana, it will provide budget to Muslims as per the proportion of their population.
Mr. Nadeem Javeed paid rich tributes to Maulana Azad and said that India had a glorious past and it is essential for the people to bring back Congress to power.
Mr. Abdullah Sohail told that a barrister was responsible for the partition of India and another barrister is now making an attempt to divide India on communal basis.
Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar, Mr. Rajiv Shukla, Dr. Naseer, Mr. Nadeem Javid and Mr. Saleem Ahmed were presented the mementos of Charminar at the beginning of the function.
