A seminar was held on the personality of Maulana Azad and the role played by him in the Freedom Struggle of India. The seminar was held in Prof. Afzaluddin Iqbal Memorial Hall at Word Master Computer Center in Mallepally on the occasion of Maulana Azad’s birthday.
Justice E. Ismail presided over the function. He highlighted the role of Maulana Azad in the field of journalism. Paying rich tribute to him, he said that such personalities are born in centuries.
As Congress President, Maulana Azad worked for national integration. He encouraged the Muslims to be patriotic to India.
Mr. Ghulam Rabbani, former Dy. Registrar of Osmania University told that we salute our hero, Maulana Azad and pledge to follow his footsteps.
Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed Fardeen gave a message to the younger generation that we should make a vow that we would follow his teachings. Dr. Ehteshamuddin Qurram and Mr. Nawaz Ghalib also addressed the gathering.
