On the expiry of police custody yesterday, Maulana Abdul Qavi was shifted to Sabarmathy jail. He has been given in judicial custody for 14 days. The Crime Branch had arrested him from Delhi Airport on 23rd March. He was given in police custody for 14 days with Gujarat police. In the name of investigations, Gujarat police tried to harass him by putting unnecessary question.
It is understood that the lawyers of Maulana Abdul Qavi will file bail petition in the court very soon.
