Mathura: Another man killed, 2 injured on suspicion of carrying beef

Mathura: One man stabbed to death for allegedly carrying beef on Friday while he travelled in a Mathura-bound train. Two of his cousins who accompanied him also got injured said the police.

As per HT, the residents of Haryana’s Bhallabhgarh had done shopping at Tughlakabad in Delhi for Eid festival and were on their way home when a heated dispute broke out between them and others over meat on Thursday evening, police said.

“As they were returning home, they had an argument over meat with a group of co-passengers, which took an ugly turn and they were attacked with a knife. The injured were rushed to the hospital where one person died,” a Delhi Police official said, on the condition of anonymity.

Cows have become the focal point of right-wing supporters since PM Modi government has come into power in 2014.

So, out of all the developmental needs of the country, lynching and thrashing innocents lives have become the daily social reform for these vigilantes.
