Asifya Cuisines ( Matbakh-e-Asafia) a cookery book containing recipes belonging to Asafia Dynasty compiled by Allama Ajaz Farukh under the supervision of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will be released today by Mr. Jannath Husain, IAS Chief Information Commissioner at 6 p.m. today at Turab Ali Khan Bhavan, Salarjung Museum. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan will preside over the function. Mr. Syed Vicaruddin Quadri, Editor of Rahnuma-e-Deccan, Professor Syed Mujaver Husain Rizvi, former Head of the Dept. of Urdu, University of Hyderabad, Allama Ajaz Farukh, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Masquati, former MLC will be Guests of Honour. This book has been compiled on the methods of cooking various delicious dishes which used to be prepared during Asif Jahi Dynasty rule. Prof. Fatima Parveen, Chairperson, Board of Studies in Urdu, OU will review the book. Mr. Ashfaq Asfi will conduct the meeting. Mr. Meer Shujaath Ali, Convener of the function told that this book available for sale at the function hall. He further told that 75% of the books have already been sold out through advance booking.
