New Delhi, October 06: A massive fire broke in a tyre factory in Vishwas Nagar area of Shahadara in North East Delhi in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
A fire fighter died and three others injured while trying to douse the fire.
They were admitted in a nearby hospital for treatment.
The fire broke out after an explosion in the basement of the building which is used as a godown of tyres. The other floors of the building are used for residential purposes.
“An explosion took place in the basement which resulted in the roof collapse,” a fire official said.
