Hyderabad Metro Rail project will bring a new business revolution in the city and it will bring prosperity in the lives of the residents. In such situation deliberately changing the alignment of Metro Rail Project in the Old City of Hyderabad is synonymous to depriving some parts of the old city from the benefits of metro rail and keeping the old city people deprived of development and prosperity. No government, politician or political party would be allowed to become an obstacle in the development of old city said Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Masqati, ex-MLA and ex-MLC while addressing to a delegation of representatives of the people, including leaders of TRS and other political parties.
Mr. Masqati told that corridor II should pass by Darushifa to Meer ka Daera stretch which is the major route of old city. It will help old city residents enjoy the fruits of development. Masqati stressed that when the property is ours and the damages and benefits are to be borne by us then no one has the right to interfere into the matter. He revealed that if the stretch is laid on the said route, he will also lose some of his property but he is ready to hand over the property. He told that he will struggle along with the people demanding the route to pass through Darushifa to Mir Ka Daera.
