Despite Qadiyanis being declared by Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board as non-believers, the board failed to take possession of Masjid Qutub Shahi, adjacent to Falaknuma railway station from Qadiyanis.
It must be noted that during a board meeting held on February 18, 2012, a historic resolution was passed which stated that Islamic school of thoughts and rulings of various religious universities testify that Qadiyanis are out of the ambit of Islam. After the passing of resolution, board had proposed to the government to give away the Qadiyanis waqf properties under the control of Hindu Awqaf department. But no step has been taken in this connection so far and no measures have been taken to free the Masjid Qutub Shahi from occupation of Qadiyanis the non-believing community.
It must be noted that Masjid Qutub Shahi was built in 1614 by the VI Qutub Shahi ruler Abdullah Qutub Shah and later it was occupied by Qadiyanis. Waqf Board Chairman Maulana Khusru Pasha and other board members should immedialtly take action and free the masjid from Qadiyanis’ possession.
