Masiullah meets Noor Rahman Sheikh on arrangements for Haj pilgrims

Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Chairman, Telangana State Haj Committee, who is currently on the tour of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met the Consul General of India in Jeddah M. Noor Rahman Sheikh and discussed about the Haj arrangements to be made during Haj Season 2018.

The Consul General of India said arrangements would be made for the pilgrims as per the previous practice and it would be ensured that the pilgrims did not face any difficulty. He also said that cooking facilities would be available in Azeeziah category and in Rubath in Makkah Mukaramma, while this facility would not be available in Madeenah al Munnawara.

M.A. Shafee, Member TS Haj Committee and Deputy Consul General Mohammed Shahid Alam were also present. Earlier the Chairman performed Umra in Makkah along with M.A. Shafee and later proceeded to meet the CJI.

The Chairman said there was restlessness among the pilgrims about the payment of SAR 2,000 from such pilgrims, who have already visited Makkah earlier. The CJI explained that those who have performed Umra earlier need not pay this amount for Haj Journey while those who have performed Haj earlier would have to pay this amount for second Haj. He said SIM card from Mobile company would be supplied to pilgrims at the Haj Camp before their departure and it would have a balance of three Saudi Riyal only. (NSS)
