An anti-corruption court has summoned jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz to appear before it on July 19 for allegedly submitting a fake trust deed in the high-profile Avenfield Apartments case.
As reported by India Today, accountability court Judge Muhammad Bashir issued the notice to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam, asking the 45-year-old political leader to appear in court on July 19.
Pakistan’s anti-corruption watchdog NAB declared the trust deed Maryam presented in the Avenefield case as fake and has requested a trial against the PML-N leader for fraudulent documents.
