Congress leader G Chinna Reddy today attributed the statehood to Telangana to the martyrs, who sacrificed their precious lives.
Talking after a resolution was proposed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on T Martyrs’ on the concluding day of Assembly here, Chinna Reddy suggested that the TRS Government extend financial help to all those who fought for the cause of Telangana since 1969. All such persons and their families be given due respect with needed support.
TDP leader Revanth Reddy suggested that it is better to lend them a helping hand. Telangana got statehood due to their persistent efforts and sacrifices, he added. (NSS)
