Hyderabad, April 08: A woman suspectedly committed suicide by getting drowned in Saroornagar lake because of strained relations with her husband on Saturday. Saroornagar police said the 21-year-old J Prashanti’s body was found floating on the water today.
According to her family members, Prashanti went missing on Friday. A resident of Lingojiguda, Prashanti got married to Raju six years ago. But for the last few months, relationship between the couple was on the rocks and it got worst in the last few days. “Both have been regularly fighting on petty issues. A similar fight took place between the duo, a week ago and Prashanti decided to leave for her mother’s residence,” police said.
However, she went missing from her mother’s residence since yesterday. The worried family members approached Saroornagar police and lodged a missing complaint.
