Hyderabad: Falknuma Police made a progress in marriages of minor girls with Arabs case and arrested Kauser Aunty who played an important role in the racket. She was a broker.
Mr. Mohammed Tajuddin Ahmed, ACP, Falknuma informed that Sana Begum (19), a resident of Hasan Nagar lodged a complaint with the police three days back and informed that Omani citizen, Abdullah Ahmed Amood had made an offer of Rs. 10 lakh for her marriage through Kauser Aunty who arranged the marriage of the girl without her consent.
It may be mentioned that earlier, Chief Qazi, Ali Abdullah Rifai was taken into police custody for three days on the complaint made by a woman in Chandrayangutta.
