New York, December 11: Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has described his marriage to Heather Mills as one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
Asked whether it was one of his worst decisions in the past 10 years, the 67-year-old said, “OK, yeah. I suppose that has to be the prime contender.”
But Sir Paul, who has a six-year-old daughter, Beatrice, with the ex-model said he did not want to “down anyone”.
“These things happen, you know but I tend to look at the positive side, which is that I have another beautiful daughter out of it,” he told music magazine Q.
The music legend did not mention Mills, his second wife, by name.
The couple wed in 2002 and divorced last year. Mills walked away with a $39m (£24m) settlement.
