Hyderabad, December 11: A man distraught, on being forced to marry against his wishes for the sake of dowry, committed suicide. The incident occurred under Saroornagar police station limits where 28 year old Naresh hanged himself to death.
It is said that Naresh forcibly married a year ago on his parent’s wishes, while he was in love with another girl and wanted to perform marriage of his choice.
Fearing that they would not get dowry in love marriage Naresh’s parents forced him to marry another girl. He hanged himself last night. Police has registered a case and investigations are on.
