Marri faults KCR for not achieving national status to single project

Finding fault with the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for including SRSP in the list of revival projects, former Minister Marri Shashidhar Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister didn’t mention about SRSP revival during his power point presentation in Assembly.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan hereon Saturday, Marri said that KCR didn’t care when retired engineer T Hanumantharao told about SRSP revival. “KCR is doing as if he got the idea of revival of the project”, he said and alleged that then chief Minister said that little amount of water storage was possible in SRSP and hence Mallanna Sagar project. But now the chief minister was speaking about SRSP, he said and alleged that KCR might be thinking that there was no need of Mallannasagar project. He alleged that KCR, who said that he will achieve national status to one project in the state, failed to get it even though three years were over. (NSS)
