Washington, D.C : Pop sensation Mariah Carey recently took to the social media to pay tribute to late American singer Natalie Cole.
Taking to Instagram, the 45-year-old singer shared a touching pic of her with Cole captioned, “Beyond devastated to hear about the passing of the beautiful and talented Natalie Cole”, E! Online reports.
The caption further read as, “My deepest condolences to her family and all who were blessed to know her. She will be terribly missed.”
In the pic, the Unforgettable’ singer is seen cradling Carey’s face with both hands as the two smile happily while attending a gathering.
Natalie, the daughter of the late jazz legend Nat King Cole, died at the age of 65 on New Year’s Eve after battling health complications.
She was known for hits such as ‘This Will Be,’ ‘I’ve Got Love on My Mind,’ and a virtual duet of her father’s signature song ‘Unforgettable.'(ANI)
