Hyderabad: In the wake of news that the Maoists are becoming active on Andhra-Odisha border, Telangana State Police got reports through intelligence sources that Maoists are entering into TS also. There are reports that in border areas of Telangana like Kothagudam, Adilabad etc, Maoists have entered. Police teams have been made alert since Maoists from Chhattisgarh are reported to have entered Telangana area.
Authentic sources revealed that in Jai Shanker Bhupally, Bhadradari, Warangal Urban and Rural Districts, Maoists have made an entry.
Police have also alerted the political leaders who are on the hit list of the Maoists. They have been advised not to visit the sensitive areas without informing the police.
There are also reports that special police teams have already been deployed to search the entry of the Maoists in these areas.
