Many Muslims killed in encounter since 1993: From NTR to TRS Govt.

Once again the dubious role of police got exposed with the encounter of Viqar Ahmed and his associates. Telangana and A.P. Police killed many Muslims in encounters since 1993. It is understood that police has been fulfilling its objectives since there are chances of Muslim youths getting justice through court. From 1993 to 2015, the attitude of police and intelligence agencies has not changed. After the formation of TRS Govt. in Telangana State Muslims were hopeful of getting justice but in the name of encounter police killed five persons in encounter. In 1993, Fasihuddin, a native of Nalgonda was killed in an encounter with the police. On 6th April 2000 another young Muslim was killed in Jagtial. Syed Aziz and his friend Azam were killed in Kareem Nagar and Uppal alleging that they were involved in attack on Saibaba Temple in 2002. In October 2004, in a joint police action in collaboration with Gujarat Police, A.P. killed Mujahid Saleem Azmi of Saidabad. Now the police has killed Viqar Ahmed and four of his associates in an encounter in Jangaon. Police always implicates Muslim youths in fake cases and eliminates them in the name of encounter.
