Many Languages One World Essay Contest 2017 invites applications from the students of age group 18 years or older to write an essay on global citizenship and cultural understanding, and the role that multilingual ability can play in fostering these. The essay should be in about 2000 words and must be written in one of the six official languages of the United Nations-Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian or Spanish reflecting the student’s personal, academic, cultural and national context.
