It is a common belief about Urdu Medium Schools that no teaching takes place there and the student waste their time in playing games and sports and the teachers earn their salaries without teaching. This is the reason that MANUU Urdu medium High School located at a backward area of the Old city, Vattepally is progressing well. When this model school was started, only 117 boys and girls sought admission in it. Today there are 784 students studying in this school. 28 teachers are busy in imparting education and training.
Talking to news reporter of Siasat, Dr. Kafeel Ahmed, Principal of Maulana Azad National Urdu University Model High School told that this school has been successful in getting cent percent result, this year also. Six students got distinction , 11 students passed in first division and 3 students passed in second division. The inception of this school has generated educational movement among the parents and guardians of this area by the untiring efforts of the staff and teachers. The misconception of Urdu medium is being vanished from the minds of the people. This is the result that many parents are approaching this school to get their children admitted.
