Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University is hosting two day conference of Vice Chancellors of Telangana, Maharashtra, Odessa, MP, UP, Chhattisgarh. VCs of nearly 50 universities are participating in a conference. This is being organized by Association of Indian Universities. The inaugural function will be held at 10:30 a.m. today.
Addressing a press conference at the MANUU guest house, Prof. Furkhan Qamar, Secretary General of Association of Indian Universities disclosed it. The topic of the conference is “Transfer of the best traditions of Information and Communication Technology”. He further told that the Vice Chancellors would deliberate on the fast growing developmental process.
Former VC of IGNOU, Prof. D.S. Chowhan, Chairman of Association of Indian Universities will preside over the conference. Dr. Mohammed Aslam Parvaiz, VC of MANUU will deliver welcome address. Prof. Ghanta Ramesh of Dept. of Education and Training, MANUU is the conference coordinator.
A cultural program is being arranged at 6 p.m. today at DDE auditorium of MANUU in which, Dr. Radhika Chopra will render Gazals.
