Ms. Tabbasum Aliya, a student of M.A. in English at the regional center of MANUU at Lucknow was awarded gold medal in a function held at Lucknow. She was to get this gold medal on the occasion of the convocation of Maulana Azad National Urdu University held in Hyderabad but she could not reach Hyderabad because she could not get railway ticket. Vice Chancellor himself awarded this gold medal and expressed his good wishes. A function was arranged in which the girls of the locality were also invited to encourage them to get higher education.
