Hyderabad: Mr Abdul Qadir Siddiqui, a Research Scholar of Maulana Azad National Urdu University has been declared eligible for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication and Journalism. He has worked on the topic, “Rewriting of Muslim Women Characters in Bollywood Cinema: A critical study” under the supervision of Dr Mohammad Fariyad, Associate Professor, Dept. of MCJ. He is the first scholar to complete PhD in Mass Communication in the Urdu language from MANUU.
