Man’s body with slit marks found in Delhi

New Delhi: A 30-year-old man’s body bearing slit marks was found lying under a stationary truck laden with cement bags in the national capital, police said on Saturday.
Police said the body was spotted by some local traders in Ghazipur Paper Market of east Delhi when the driver moved the truck.
“Prima facie, it seems that the man had been killed somewhere else on Friday night and his body was hidden under the static truck,” said a police officer.
“When I moved the truck to a side to off-load the cement bags, local traders got panicked to find the body of a man lying under it with slit marks. We informed the police,” Bir Singh Pradhan, the truck driver, told IANS.
“The body has not been identified yet and efforts are on with the help of residents of adjoining areas to establish the identity of the deceased,” the police officer said.
