Mumbai: Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, admitted to a suburban hospital last month, had now returned home and was doing fine, sources close to him said this evening.
Kumar was admitted to Kokilaben hospital in suburban Andheri for 15 days last month. Now he is fine and has been discharged.
“He was admitted to hospital 10 days ago. But now he is fine and at home,” sources said, without divulging reason for the hospital stay.
The actor reportedly had a back problem.
Kumar, 78, is known for his patriotic roles in the films such as ‘Purab Aur Paschim’, ‘Roti Kapda Aur Makaan’, etc.
In 1992, he was honoured with the Padmashri.
