New Delhi, January 20: A 20-year-old Manipuri girl, working in a spa centre, was raped in Dwarka here by a man who offered her a lift back home Wednesday night. The rapist left behind his debit card and police said they will arrest him soon.
The girl was working in a spa in Gurgaon for the past three days. After finishing work she was waiting for public transport, when a person offered her a lift at around 8.45 p.m.
The man took her to a secluded place in Dwarka Sector 20 and raped her and fled from the spot.
The girl, who lives in Mahipalpur in south Delhi, called up one of her friends. She then went with her friend to the Sector 23 police station.
Police found the accused’s debit card from the spot. They have identified him but are not naming him.
