Hyderabad, January 28: Keeping pace with plans to increase the group’s footprint further in South India, Manipal K-12 announced plans to further expand its network of schools across the State.
Speaking after the inauguration of the new school, “The distinctive character of a Manipal School is to provide world class education at an affordable price. Literary and cultural activities are blended with every student’s academic life, while strong emphasis is also placed on discipline,” said Umashankar Vishvanath, president, Manipal K-12 education and added, “We will be setting up two more schools in Hyderabad and will also have presence in Vizag, Vijayawada, Nellore, Guntur etc.
The Vista School at Gachibowli will start from this academic year with pre primary to 4th class, 5th to 8th standard will be added next year.”
FEE STRUCTURE
The fee structure is Rs 20,000 per annum for pre-primary, LKG & UKG and Rs 25,000 per annum for classes 1 to 4. 10% of the seats will be allocated for the economically challenged sections.
Jayaprakash Narayan said there is great demand for quality education in India. “Lack of proper education can increase the gap amongst haves and have nots in the country leading to inequality and disintegration of the society. Therefore every child should have equal opportunity to quality education,” he added.
