Waqf Board has sought services of eminent lawyers for effective defence for protection of Waqf land under Dargah Hazrat Husain Shah Vali. Waqf Board Chairman Maulana Syed Afzal Biabani better known as Khusro Pasha is leaving for New Delhi on a 2-day visit for consultation with eminent legal expert Fali S. Nariman and K K Lahri of Supreme Court to file a counter affidavit. Deputy Secretary (law) Sultan Mohiuddin and senior advocate Shafiqur Rahman Mahajir are also leaving for New Delhi along with Waqf Board Chairman.

The hearing on Manikonda Jagir case in Supreme Court will be held in early December. It must be recalled that Lanco has challenged the high court order (in which it stated that the Waqf land belonged to the Dargah Husain Shah Vali) in Supreme Court.
