TRS MP and party secretary-general K Keshav Rao today said his party’s manifesto for civic polls is a beginning for a new era of rapid development and welfare of people in the twin cities.
At a program, along with IT & Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao, party leader D Srinivas and others in Telangana Bhavan here on Saturday, Keshav Rao released a 15-page TRS Manifesto on the twin cities’ development with various plans and schemes to make it a global destination.
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Rao said the TRS government was giving equal priority to all communities and offered 68 tickets for BCs in the civic polls. “Everywhere the people are extending support to the TRS during the campaigning for the civic polls and the party will easily win 100 seats and get the Mayoral post”, he asserted. The party manifesto, he said, gave clarity on future plans of implementation of various works relating to city development.
D Srinivas said the manifesto was prepared under Chief Minister KCR’s guidance. “The civic polls came first time after TRS came to power in the State and we hope the people will vote us to power for development”, he said. He exhorted the people of the twin cities to give the ruling party a chance to transform the city into a global destination with all world standard infrastructure and facilities. (NSS)
