Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has asked Director General of Police Dinesh Reddy to order a comprehensive inquiry and ensure immediate arrest of the maniac, who attacked RTC bus passengers in Thada of Nellore district, in which three persons were killed.
The Chief Minister also spoke to Transport Minister Botcha Satyanarayana and asked him to direct the RTC officials to extend all assistance to the victims and kin of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the RTC bus driver Sammaiah told the police that the maniac who fatally attacked the passengers jumped down even as the bus was running. He said that the maniac, who was also traveling in the bus, resorted to butchering the victims while they were fast asleep. He said that 24 persons were traveling in the bus when the killer cut throat of one passenger and stabbed two others in their chests. (NSS)
