Responsibilities:
– Responsible for securing new customers for Ocean / Air, Exports & Imports business
– Maintaining and developing existing accounts
– Meet and exceed targets set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department
– Conduct and report maximum number of sales leads and transform into revenue generating business
– Identify potential customers and register opportunities
– Regularly visit existing accounts, validate service levels and take necessary action
– Develop new revenue streams
– Negotiate with accounts as per price guidelines given with focus on profit maximization
– Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
– Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the finance controller
– Key accounts management
– Retaining existing customers
