Lucknow, December 12: Manager of a degree college has been arrested for opening fire at a PAC jawan in Mirzapur district, police said today.
Anmol Singh, manager of Ram Lalit Singh college in Kailaghat town under Chunar police station area, opened fire at Vinod Singh yesterday following dispute over a cricket match.
Anmol snatched the licenced pistol of the jawan and opened fire at him, they said, adding he has been admitted to a hospital in Varanasi.
