(Siasat News)Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy given permission to the Managements of the Engineering Colleges to allot the 30 per cent management seats at any cost, with this the management got free hand in doing so. They are now also thinking of even auction of these seats.
This is great news especially to the 100 top Engineering colleges as their seat will be in a high demand. They can auction the seat without fear from the government or any regulatory bodies.
This decision is taken by the C.M. so that he can fix a common fee for the convener quota of Rs. 35,000 and can start counseling as soon as possible.
As the state Government hiked only 4000 this relaxation in the management quota will be compensation for them.
This news shocked the parents who expected the management quota fee would be reduced.
In spite of these negotiations, which is going on since last few months, government is unable to announce the counseling schedule yet. Half of the academic year is going to complete still the admission is pending; this will affect the quality of education.
Not only B.Tech admission but also M.Tech admission is delayed due to the government negligence which taken this issue seriously only after the agitation by the opposition parties.
