HYDERABAD: Telugu daily ‘Mana Telangana’ made serious allegations against Damodara Rao, a key aide of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao into the multi-crore Miyapur land scam.
Mr Damodara Rao Deevakonda, an auditor by profession, has been CMD of Namaste Telangana and a key aide of the TRS chief.
According to the sources, Damodar influences Revenue Secretaries and ministers more than the party President.
The publication ‘Namaste Telangana’ launched 3 years ago, was originally promoted by the family members of KCR and Damodara Rao.
It was alleged that P.S. Prasad, known as “Goldstone Prasad”, the main accused in the Miyapur land scam has good relations with Damodara and both of them are doing joint business worth thousands of crores.
P.S. Prasad is the elder brother of P.S. Parthasarathi, director of Trinity Infraventures Ltd, who was arrested by the Cyberabad police in connection with the land scam.
Mr Prasad’s wife Indrani Prasad is also a director of Trinity Infraventures.
Earlier, Telangana TDP President and working president L Ramana and A Revanth Reddy respectively alleged CM KCR was extending his support to the culprits to water down Rs.15,000 crore worth case.
Revanth Reddy asked the state government to tell about the number 8096677777 and its user as published in a Telugu daily newspaper.
L Ramana alleged that the main culprit in Miyapur land scam was Goldstone Prasad and his company Trinity Infra purchased a Benz car which was not seen these days in Chief Minister’s convoy after TTDP exposed the issue.
Mercedes Benz with number TS 10 EH 6666 was registered with the number 8096677777 which allegedly belongs to Damodara Rao as per True Caller application.
