Washigtnon, November 21: US officials say they’ve arrested a man who strapped 15 live lizards to his chest to get through customs at Los Angeles International Airport.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service says the 40-year-old American was returning from Australia when US Customs agents found two geckos, two monitor lizards and 11 other lizards fastened to his body.
The man’s been released on a $10,000 bond and is to appear in court next month.
Authorities believe the lizards’ value is about $9000 dollars.
