Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal escaped unhurt after a stone was hurled at him during Aam Aadmi Party’s rally at Tigdi in South Delhi area on Saturday.
The stone, thrown by a youngster barely reached the dais and it was reported that the attacker was apprehended by AAP workers.
“We have no bad wishes for people who hurl shoe and stones at us, we wish them all the best,” he said.
Meanwhile, the BJP recalled similar instances in the run-up to the Delhi polls in 2013 and termed it a publicity stunt. Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said, “These poll gimmicks are AAP’s habit, nothing new.”
