New Delhi, October 15: A 20-year-old man allegedly jumped to death from the fifth floor of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, barely half an hour after he was admitted there for attempted suicide, police said today.
Ravi allegedly jumped from the third floor of his Inderpuri residence yesterday after he had an altercation with his mother Usha last evening. His mother also allegedly consumed some poisonous substances.
“They were brought to the hospital. After nearly 30 minutes, he jumped from the fifth floor. The condition of Usha is stable at present. No suicide note has been found,” a senior police official said.
Ravi, who is into real estate business, used to stay with his wife and mother.
