New Delhi: A man in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, in a bid to get married swallowed metallic objects including his mobile phone, battery, keys, sharp wires, glass after he was told to do so by a ‘Tantric’.
Due to his ill health and hampered chances of getting married, the 42-year-old Ajay Dwivedi fearing a curse and ‘black magic’, turned to the tantric and agreed to follow his instructions. Dwivedi’s health deteriorated and he developed a stomach ache, which made him visit a private hospital.
The doctor was shocked to see metallic things inside his body through an X-ray test. The metal pieces were taken out through a surgery, quotes a report by Times of India.
Surgeon SK Singh said that “Dwivedi seemed to be suffering from a medical condition and that people in ‘suicide mode’ often consume such objects”.
