THANE: In a horrific incident, a roadside Chinese eatery owner throws HOT OIL at a 29-year-old customer for complaining about the food.
The entire incident took place at a Chinese eatery in Thane’s Ulhasnagar area was caught on a camera.
As per a report in Mid-day, at around 11.30 pm on Tuesday, the victim Vicky Mhaske along with his three friends went to the eatery to have dinner.
The customer first complained to the eatery’s owner about the taste of the food and then created an issue over the bill following which a scuffle broke out between the two.
In the 43 seconds CCTV footage, the customer is seen throwing an object at the owner. In retaliation, the accused grabbed a jug and filling it up with hot oil threw on the victim. Vicky suffered grievous burn injuries on his face.

A case under sections 323, 324, 504 and 34 of IPC was registered against the eatery owner and the staff and investigation is underway.
