A 28-year-old woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband in Lalaguda police limits.
The victim, Lakshmi, and her husband Venkatesh, used to work as labourers and stay in NSS Function Hall in Lalaguda. They were married about one year ago. On Wednesday night, Venkatesh had argument with his wife Lakshmi over some family issues. Out of rage, he allegedly stabbed her with a knife and fled from the spot. Lakshmi was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Lalaguda police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 IPC against Venaktesh and began investigations. (INN)
