Man shot at in southwest Delhi, hospitalised

New Delhi: A 34-year-old man was shot at when he was going towards Gurugram in southwest Delhi’s Chhawla today, the police said.

The accused indicated to Chanderprakash that his car tyre was punctured and when he got out to check, he was shot at, they said. The incident occurred this morning.

During investigation, the police found that Chanderprakash, a resident of Roshanpura in Najafgarh, was going to the Gurgaon Court in his car to attend a civil matter.

The victim suffered a bullet injury to his right arm. He called one of his friends who got him admitted at a hospital where he is being treated, the police said.

Police suspect that he could have been shot due to a property dispute.
