New Delhi, July 14: A 30-year-old man was today shot dead in broad daylight by two unidentified motorcyclists in the national capital, police said. Satpal, a resident of Haryana”s Sonepat, had gone out of his cousin sister”s residence in Mahipalpur in south-west Delhi when two men on a motorcycle came and opened fire at him, a senior police official said.
He was shot at five times around 11:20 am and died on the spot, the official said, adding he had come to his cousin”s residence in Mahipalpur yesterday. Satpal used to come to the capital every 15-20 days to buy medicines.
“We have ruled out robbery as a motive. We are investigating the motive behind the murder.
It could be personal enmity,” the official said. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
