New Delhi: An argument between two groups of people today turned ugly in southeast Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar, which left a person dead, the police said.
An argument started between the two groups of people and the members of one group assaulted the other, they said.
One Shanta sustained injuries on her head while Vicky from her group received two bullet injuries and succumbed to injuries during treatment, the police said.
The police are suspecting that the quarrel started after a relative of Shanta was allegedly molested by the members of the other group.
One person has been arrested in connection with the case, the police added.
