A local court has awarded life imprisonment to a man for raping a minor girl.
Additional District Judge S N Tripathi sentenced Khemkaran to life term for raping an eight-year-old girl on May 29, 2011 in Darauli village of Dhanari area here.
An FIR was registered in this regard at Dhanari police station.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1.5 lakh on the accused.
