An incident of power theft occurred at Akbar Bagh Anand Nagar, Malakpet where KK Vinod Kumar resident of Akbar Bagh, Anand Nagar who was also arrested earlier on the charges of power theft has been rearrested for power theft. A case has been registered against him besides levying a fine on him.
Vigilance team of Chanchalguda Electricity Section conducted a raid on Vinod Kumar‘s residence and discovered power theft. Vinod Kumar has been arrested and sent to judicial remand.
Electricity department has informed public that a campaign has been initiated against power theft.
