After diverting a man’s attention, he was robbed-off Rs 1.45 lakh by thieves at Sitaphalmandi under Chilkalguda Police Station limits on Saturday.
According to Chilkalguda police, Madhav Reddy (60) had withdrawn Rs 1.45 lakh of cash from Andhra Bank, for buying jewellery for her daughter’s marriage in the Saturday morning. After reaching his Apartment 7-Hills, in Sitaphalmandi, he parked his vehicle outside for making room for his car in the Apartment’s cellar. Upon his arrival outside his residence, one stranger wearing a helmet and driving a bike sought directions of Secunderabad. Madhav Reddy who doubted his intentions went back to his car, only to find the bag of cash was missing.
The Chilkalguda police registered a case and began investigation. (INN)
