Amaravati: A 19-year-old college girl was molested and sexually assaulted by three men who video-graphed the incident, and then shared it on social media platforms.
The sadist incident took place in August at Kanigiri town in Prakasam district but came to light on Tuesday after the video went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp.
The footage shows the helpless girl crying, screaming and begging for mercy but the accused continued to grope and disrobe her and made every attempt to undress and gang-rape her. His friend shot the crime with his smart phone and shared with their friends on social media.
Another girl happens to be victim’s friend tried in vain to prevent the crime.

The Times of India reported that the girl was in a relationship with the main convict, Sai (19), a B.Sc agriculture student for over a year. When she came to know that he is only interested in her sexually, she decided to part away.
According to police, Sai conspired to “teach her a lesson” and along with his friends, Karthik, a B.Tech student, and K Pawan, son of a police constable called her to an isolated place on the pretext of discussing their relationship.
The accused then molested her and filmed the incident and circulated in whatsapp groups.
The Kangiri police has registered the case and booked the trio under relevant sections of the Nirbhaya Act.
