Man meets death in an attempt to catch train

Hyderabad April 29: Tension gripped at Uppuguda railway station when a 38-year-old man bled to death during an attempt to catch a train on Thursday morning.

Following the incident, enraged mob went on the rampage and threw stones and boulders on the booking counter.

The victim Seshumani worked as a private worker in Secunderabad. He used to catch the train from Uppuguda. On Thursday morning Seshumani took ticket till then the train started moving in a slow pace. The tragedy struck when his bid to catch the train failed. He slipped and fell on the tracks and both his legs got severed in the incident and he died on the spot.

His family members have alleged that the mishap occurred due to delay in issuance of ticket by the railway personals.
