In a ghastly incident, a man, who quarreled with his wife, lynched his daughter in a fit of anger. He also injured another daughter. He was arrested by the police.
According to the information, Damodar loved Sulochana and married her. However, he became an addict to liquor and used to frequently quarrel with his wife, doubting her fidelity.
Vexed with his behaviour, Sulochana went away to her sister’s house as Damodar was frequently torturing her. On Wednesday Damodar went to his sister-in-law’s house and quarreled with her. He then forcibly brought his two daughters to his house and hit one with a stone, killing her. The other was also injured. (NSS)
